Subject: Directing Interns

Prof. Wynter is offering an opportunity to one or two CTVA Living Learning students to assist her in prepping her storyboards and shotlists on the film The Rebel Heart which she will be directing in January. Applicants should submit resume and letter of interest to Dianah.wynter@csun.edu or fax to CTVA office, 818-677-4919 or Mike O’Neal at Living Learning. Students should have Final Draft, Quicktime softwares. Car and valid drivers license desirable. Must be available five to ten hours/wk. Student will receive three units of college credit. Internship begins immediately upon selection of student.

Interns will gain experience in aspects of directing, pre-production, production and location scouting. This is a very hands-on internship.

CARIBBEAN AMERICAN FILM PRODUCTION CO.

Caribbean American Film Production Co. is a film company based in Trinidad and northern California. As a production company, CAFP LLC is producing a slate of three films currently being financed with foreign funding.

CAFP LLC is the only company to make theatrical features in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago by local writers with international casts. Founded by producer Horace Wilson (Sinners Need Company, Turn Of the Tide), CAFP LLC is the first company to combine American and local film professionals to bring to the generations of island storytelling to the big screen. It’s first film is The Rebel Heart directed by Dianah Wynter.
